āZac was the coordinator and he was very polite. My 2010 Toyota was overheating and the mechanic could not figure out out what was wrong. Eventually they found out that it was a hose that had broken and Freon was making the car overheat. Zac helped me out and provided a loaner for me. He was very polite and he got me 75 dollars discount. My minivan was washed and is running great.ā

āI was looking for a new Sienna and had a specific trim and color in mind, there was a dealership near me that had almost the exact car I wanted but when I arrived no one seemed interested in selling me the car, or any cars for that matter. No one approached me, asked if I was being helped, no one cared that I was there. I found someone in a Toyota uniform to ask some questions about the floor model, they told me they couldn't show it to me because the battery is dead, I told them I'd be back that weekend to purchase the car that had been sitting for two months and they told me it'd be fully charged and ready for me to look at that weekend. Then I come back exactly when I said I'd be there and find out the manager I spoke to wasn't there, and the car was sold 3 days prior, then they asked if I'd be interested in a completely different trim than the one I wanted. After that debacle I decided I didn't want to deal with that dealership and went to search for anyone within 100 miles that had or was getting the Sienna I wanted. That's when I found Toyota of Hackensack. When I arrived someone at the reception desk immediately took down my name and assigned a sales person to me that would be with my shortly. The sales person Chayanne talked to me about the car, showed me a similar Sienna that was on the lot but allocated to a customer, just so I could see it, then we discussed upcoming options that were arriving. I picked one that was closest to what I wanted even though it would take longer, and I put down a deposit on the car. When the car arrived I told Chayanne when I'd be coming in, I showed up that day, the car was actually on the lot, and within a few hours I drove home in a brand new Sienna. I couldn't be happier with the overall experience, I didn't feel like I was being pressured by the sales team to purchase unnecessary add-ons, they made the process of filing out the paperwork very easy and stress free, and given that the dealership was an hour and a half drive away through World Cup traffic, I appreciated that I didn't feel like I wasted my time by showing up when I said I would. If I decide to purchase another Toyota I would happily do it here, and I would happily recommend Toyota of Hackensack to anyone looking to purchase a new car.ā

āNot particularly happy with the service. My camerys roof leaks due to a clogged drain. In order to clean it you need to open the sunroof however My sunroof motor is broken. I was quoted $1,500 to repair the motor. Fair. An OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) made by Toyota is $35 bucks on ebay but this ridiculous corporate run dealership won't buy it bc they want to charge me $1,500 plus labor to buy the exact same original part which I sourced for $35. So now I still have a leaky roof and a non working sunroof. I will go to somebody local to get everything fixed. :( Pretty disappointed in your corporate chain on nonsense. Then I keep getting hounded to leave a 5 star review but I kept asking to fix it but they won'tā

āThe worst car buying experience of my life! Do not go to this dealership! They lie after lie after lie to you. They say what you want to hear and then and go do the total opposite of what they say they are going to do. If I could have found the car I was looking for at another dealership I would have bought it from another dealership. I repeat if you can buy from another dealership do it. This is not the place to go. We are on week 2 of waiting to get an suv that we paid for already and still have not received it. We have not been updated about anything. I call to find out about everything and they are not transparent about what is going on at all. Just the worst car buying experience I have ever had and I have bought multiple cars and I never have had problems like this.ā

āToday i decided to place a service for an oil change and had a general question about the paint that has been peeling on my car to my advisor that I know pretty well and this has nothing to do with him but to the so called "person in charge on placing online appointments" I didnt catch her name but not 20 minutes later I get a call from this woman who went completely bizzerk, basically yelling at me saying that "You said that Toyota is going to cover the peeling of your car for free?! we dont do that here". So I later explained that the paint code and year are matching with other owners that are having the same issue ans she continued to be rude; MIND you I didn't ask for a "free" paint job, I wanted to ask my advisor that if they could look but I did not expect to be treated like this for somebody thats always brought my car here for service and never have an issue. To clarify, next time, R E A D what people put on the additional comment section and don't A S S U M E and be rude on the phone and expect me to just accept it and keep my appointment, you got loud with me so I got loud back and you hung up the second I said to cancel my appointment. Disgusting behavior and honestly its always a god send to make sure I never spend a penny there again, if this is how you treat your customers, I have no doubt you do not give a shit about our cars and that is why nobody trusts these dealerships anymore.ā
